Fix-It Friday #52

This morning I decided to have a little fun while I sipped my coffee, so I did a Fix-It Friday over at iheartfaces.com. What that means, is that every Friday there is a photo submitted that we get to open up in our photo editing software and "play" with it.   I love to edit photos whether they are mine or not.  If you have a photo that you love, but aren't quiet happy with the brightness, clarity, color, or whatever then contact me.  I love doing post processing and retouching!  Together we can make your photos fabulous.  :)

Here is the original photo:

Here are my three "fixes":

I used Photoshop CS4 to do my post processing.  Which do you like more?

And the winner is.... {Creative Family Photography in Richmond, TX}

Meet the "M" Family!  They are the lucky winners of my last Facebook Fanpage giveaway.  I was fortunate enough to meet this family recently as Dad troops with my husband in the 501st Legion.  They drove all the way from Baytown for our session.  I am so glad they made the drive because we had a fantastic session.  The weather was beautiful and the family is so much fun.  I always enjoy having them around.

Thanks for making the drive all the way over to me for your session!  Next time I will come to your neck of the woods.  :)

Gone Too Soon

I was deeply saddened by some news that I received today.  You may remember the precious set of  twin boys that I photographed a few months ago.  Beautiful baby Bennett passed away suddenly on the evening of Wednesday April 21st, 2010. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain of losing a child.

If you feel called upon to donate to Baby Bennetts memorial fund, you can do so by visiting the family's website: http://www.rememberingbabybennett.blogspot.com/.

Gone Too Soon
This was a life that hardly begun
no time to find your place in the sun
no time to do all you could have done
but we loved you enough for a lifetime

No time to enjoy the world andd its wealth
No time to take life down off the shelf
no time to sing the song of yourself
though you had enough love for a lifetime

Those who live long endure sadness and tears
but you'll never suffer the sorrowing years
no betrayel, no anger
no hatred, no fears
Just love, only love in your lifetime...

As legend has it...{Custom Family Photography in Booth, TX}

This weekend I headed back out to Booth for a family session with the "S" family. The old schoolhouse has such a cool feel to it and thankfully the ants seemed to have mostly disappeared since my last visit. Dad kept making references to old stories about the schoolhouse to try and scare the girls and Mom would shush him before he could ever get the story out. The legends were completely made up on the spot of course. Very amusing.

Thank you "S" Family! I had a great time spending the morning with your beautiful family.

On the move {Custom Child Birthday Photography in Katy, Texas}

We headed over to Heritage Park for Henry's 1 year portraits on Saturday.  He has been walking for a while and has definitely mastered running as well.  He is in what I call the "movers and shakers" stage.  At this stage they love to be on the go exploring their environment and he was the perfect example.  So we just kept moving and checking out new places.  I set my shutter speed very fast and was able to get some great shots.

Happy Birthday, Henry!  One is fun.  :)

In tune with nature {Custom Senior Photography in Sugar Land, Texas}

This weekend I had a really fun adventure! I photographed Daniela's senior portraits in her favorite place of peace and contemplation. It involved a twenty minute hike, thorny bushes, muddy shoes, and sweat on my brow. But, I think the pictures speak for themselves so it was all more than worth it. The place was amazing and I am so glad that she chose to do her portraits there.

Thank you for taking me to your favorite hideaway. I will not give your secret place away. If I take anyone there, they will be blindfolded for sure. ;)

Dainty little one {Custom Newborn Photography in Katy, TX}

Meet Lily. At not quite six pounds, she was able to fit into the littlest places. Even my smallest hats were a little bit big. :) Such a beautiful and delicate little thing.  She is so dainty and only six days old.

Thank you "H" family for inviting me into your home at such a wonderful time for your family.  It was a pleasure.

Love,
Chryshelle {Custom Newborn Photographer}
