A little cowboy {Custom Infant Photography in Richmond, TX}

I photographed Coy a few weeks after he was born and was excited to get a call to photograph his "half-birthday".  He is seven months old and sitting very well, crawling, and even pulling up to stand!  I think the "S" family are going to have an early walker on their hands.  I almost died when mom started pulling out all his cowboy gear.  How cute is that!

Halloween Mini-Sessions 2010!! {Halloween Portraits in Richmond, TX}

Halloween is right around the corner.  Dress up your little ghosts, goblins, superheros, and princesses and head over to the studio for a fun mini-session.  You will also get Halloween cards to show of your little cutie to your friends and family.  

Sat, Oct. 2  1-5pm   and    Sun, Oct. 3  9am-12pm.

Includes:
20 minute mini-session 
3 fully retouched images on CD
10-pack of Halloween cards (your choice from my 4 custom designs this season!)

Cards and CDs will be ready for pickup Oct 12th.

You are welcome to have your child in costume or a fall outfit. Price includes one child. Additional children are $15 each.

Michael and Molly {Engagement Portraits in San Antonio, TX}

The main reason I scheduled a second trip this summer to San Antonio was this next couple. Molly and Michael are getting married! We woke up early and headed out to the McNay Art Institute for their engagement session. It is such a beautiful place and they were really easy going and lots of fun. I can't wait until the wedding in September!

Little Lamb {Creative Newborn Photography in Richmond, TX}

The "G" Family came in from Dallas this past weekend and mom called hoping she could get in to get some baby portraits.  Well, you KNOW how much I can't resist a newborn session so of course I worked her in.  It is my pleasure to introduce to you William.  He was a little bit older than the typical newborn that I photograph, but was very laid back and easy to work with none the less.  I absolutely love the way this session turned out.  

It was so nice meeting you this weekend.  Hopefully, I can catch you again on your next trip to see how much that precious little boy of yours has grown.

One little monkey {One Year Portraits in Richmond, TX}

This morning Liam came over to the studio for his one year pictures. I cannot believe how big he has gotten since the last time I photographed him a few months ago. He is so cute and in about 15 years those big blue eyes are going to drive all the girls crazy.

Smiles {Creative Newborn Photography in Katy, TX}

It has definitely been a summer full of babies here at Chryshelle Spurgeon Photography! Let me introduce to you Jarett. He was great for our session waking for a while during the middle so we could get a few awake shots. Once he got a full belly, he went back off to sleep and that is when the smiles came. I think he smiled for about 3 different poses. So happy and barely a single whimper during the whole session.

It was a pleasure photographing your precious new baby boy. I hope to see you all again.

A long awaited for gift {Custom Family Photography in Helotes,TX}

This next family is very near and dear to my heart.  They were blessed about one year ago with a beautiful newborn baby girl.  A baby girl that they had searched and waited for for a very long time.  And let me say with 4 older brothers who are already very protective of her, mom and dad shouldn't have anything to worry about in her teen years.  Meet the "R" Family.  A super fun family that knows how to do "big family" just about perfect.

Lollipop {Child Birthday Photography in Katy, TX}

Members of the "H" family have been showing up frequently on the blog this year.  This time, we got together for Ava's 2 Year Portraits (and a very special session that will be blogged tomorrow).  She loves being in the spotlight and getting all the attention just like my middle child.  She was SUPER excited when Mom handed her a lollipop halfway through our session.  That white dress didn't stay white for very long.  lol

A gorgeous graduate {Graduation Portraits in San Antonio, TX}

I had a great time photographing Chelsea in her cap and gown for her graduation portraits.  She is absolutely stunning and very relaxed in front of the camera.  When those two traits combine, it always makes for an awesome session.

Cake {Custom Birthday Portraits in Katy, TX}

I was so excited to photograph Vivienne for her one year session!  I love birthdays and first year birthdays especially.  It is so fun getting to do the "smash the cake" session with the little ones.  They either hate it or love it.  Well, Vivi LOVED it!  I have never seen a kid go after cake the way she did.  A girl after my own heart.  The last one is my favorite.  She is looking at her hands like she is concerned about being dirty, however her feet are sitting IN the cake.  lol

My three sons, cont. {Custom Maternity Photography in Richmond, TX}

I am sure you remember the "F" family from their maternity session a few months back.  Well, the testosterone level in that family has increased just a bit more with the birth of their third son, Bode.  He is so cute with his old man jowl.  Once he settled, he was so easy to pose that I was able to put a few different hats on him, too.

A Blessed Day (times two) {Child Baptism Photography in Houston, TX}

This weekend, I was honored to photograph the baptism of beautiful Lily.   It was a lovely intimate event with their family.  Her mother wrote a touching post that I thought I would share here since I couldn't have found a more beautiful way of saying it. 

"Welcome, precious little child so fresh from God above. Baptized today in Jesus' name, held in His arms of love. May angels guide your tiny feet and bring you smiles to wear. And may our Heavenly Father always keep you in His care my sweet Lily Grace!"

What made the day even more special is that Lily's cousin, Luke, was also baptized alongside of Lily. 

How cute are those little socks?  

Thank you for choosing me to capture such a special day in your lives!  Your children are precious and I am so glad that I was able to share in your happiness.
