Fundraiser Benefit for Layla Grace

I have been thinking non-stop about ways I could help the Marsh family ever since I first read about precious Layla Grace.  I knew immediately that I wanted to do a fundraiser to help her family, but I couldn't nail down the details.  It just didn't feel right to only hold one day of sessions in celebration of Layla's life.  It seemed too rigid to try to arrange a limited number of sessions at a set location at a set time.  I certainly didn't want to exclude anyone who wanted to help me in giving back to such a wonderful cause.  So I have decided to hold a Gift Certificate Sale in honor of sweet Layla.  If you would like to have a session any time in 2010 with Chryshelle Spurgeon Photography, then you can help.  If you know someone who lives in the Houston, Richmond, Sugarland, Katy, Cypress, or surrounding Texas areas that you normally buy a gift for, then you can help.  If you live in San Antonio or know someone who does, then you can help.  You can apply your gift certificate to any session or product offered by Chryshelle Spurgeon Photography.  There is no limit to the number of gift certificates you can purchase. 
Please help me to make an impact in the lives of this family as they have impacted the lives of so many!

Can you feel the love? {Cypress, Texas Custom Baby Photography}

I can honestly say this was one of my favorite sessions.  Mom and Dad were so easy to work with and  stayed so patient even through baby's fussy spells.  Dad even got peed AND pooped on at different points during our session.  He just smiled and said "wipe me down and lets keep going".  Such a trooper!  The images came out beautiful.  You can definitely feel the love that the new baby has brought to this family.
Welcome to the world Coy!  You are such a precious little boy.

Time to reserve your spot for Easter Portraits!

Do not worry. Our bunnies and chicks are only "life-like". They cannot scratch or bite so they are safe for even the littlest portrait subject to be photographed with. And, they are much easier to clean up after. :)

Introducing Addison.  She had a rough start today at our session, but once we got her settled she fell sound asleep.  I hope I tuckered her out enough for her to sleep soundly all afternoon.

Sunshine on a cloudy day {Richmond, Texas Custom Child Portraits}

Meet Zoë.  She is so spunky and reminds me a ton of my own daughter.  She was shy at first, but once we started playing she warmed right up to the camera.  She would only smile if I would spin her in circles between each portrait location.  Of course I went along with that deal.  I will do just about anything to get great shots and I love the fact that part of my job is to act silly!  Her smile brought sunshine to our cloudy afternoon session.

Today I photographed a friend's new baby girl.  Meet Chesney.  She is only six days old and still so tiny.  Isn't she just darling!?
