Birthday girl {Children's Birthday Portraits in Richmond, TX}

Kylie came to the studio because she has a third birthday coming up.  Mom brought along some really great props for the session, too.  I love how the bright balloons and the lollipop photographed and they made the birthday session a little more fun.  Kylie is such a sweet little girl and she gave us tons of smiles to work with.

Friends {Child Photography in Richmond, TX}

The first thing I have to say is when you get 5 one year olds together it can get loud.  lol  But this session was so much fun even through the chaos.  I love the reason for it.  The session was the result of an office baby boom.  All the moms are nurses in the same hospital, all were pregnant together, and all delivered within weeks of one another.  We met to celebrate the little one's first birthday together.  Hopefully, they will all grow up to be great friends just like their moms.

See you all again next year for the two year session.  ;)

Happy birthday blue eyes {Child Birthday Portraits in The Woodlands, TX}

While I was out in The Woodlands photographing his new baby sister, we decided to go ahead and do Guy's birthday portraits at the same time.  He has amazing blue eyes!  I mean, no enhancing or sharpening needed amazing blue eyes.  He was much more excited over cookies than cake and I just couldn't resist getting a shot of his adorable little cookie face.  :)

Happy Birthday Guy!  Two is going to be terrific.

Terrific Twos {Children's Photography in Richmond, TX}

Emery came in to the studio this weekend for her 2 year portraits. She is your typical two year old. Full of energy, experimentation, and boundary testing...wait, that sounds a lot like me and I am almost 30.   I guess some of us never grow out of it.  lol  In any case, I love a child that keeps me on my toes and constantly creating new ways to capture attention.  Some of my favorite images are ones that show the true personality of my clients and I think these came out perfect. 

While Em was changing, I got to flirt with her baby brother for a little while.  Isn't he sweet?

Pink Ruffles {One Year Portraits in Houston, TX}

I headed out to Hermann Park this weekend.  It was the first time I had ever been to this location.  I love the way the images turned out! 

You probably will recognize these two beauties.  They have become regulars on the blog.  This time we met for Madelyn's 1st Birthday pictures and the always fun "smash the cake" picture.  Her raspberry pettiskirt was to die for!  While mom went to get the cake out of the car I had a little fun photographing big sister, too.  :)
