Dad and his girls {Custom Family Photography in Katy, TX}

Meet the "K" Family. A handful of girls and dad. I couldn't help but feel for him. I didn't know whether to feel bad for him that he was the only guy of the bunch or like he is lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful girls. One thing is sure, though. He definitely loves being around all his girls!

Thank you for such an interesting evening. I am glad we weren't eaten by the crocs. :)

One is fun! {One Year Birthday Photography in Katy, TX}

This was the third little boy that I photographed this weekend celebrating their first birthday! :) I had the BEST time photographing little Mitch for his one year portraits. He is super sweet and smiled on cue. Every time!  He is absolutely adorable.

Happy Birthday cutie pie!  I can' wait for our photoshoot for the Katy Kidney Beans!!

It was so refreshing and FUN to try out a new location this weekend!  The "W" children were just precious and dressed immaculately.  How cute is that little romper!?

Better late.... {Custom Infant Photography in Richmond, TX}

It took a little bit of convincing to get Dad on board for a newborn session. I am so glad that Mom was able to talk him into it because the photos came out adorable! I am delighted to introduce to you all little Gavin.  Loved his little pouty face!  :)

Congratulations on your precious baby boy.  I look forward to future sessions with big sister, too.

A whole year old {One Year Birthday Portraits in Booth, TX}

You may recognize Asher from a session I did a little while back for his 6 month portraits.  I was lucky enough to get to see him again this morning for his one year portraits.  He is such a ham!!  Really, could he get any cuter?!!  I love his baby blues and that suit is just adorable.

It's a girl! {Custom Newborn Photography in Cypress, TX}

Last night I made my way out to Cypress to meet the newest little girl to the "R" Family.  She is the smallest of 4 girls and oh so sweet.  Meet Angelina.  Isn't she such a little doll?  She was very alert at the beginning of our session, but once we swaddled her up and got  her nice and warm, she fell right to sleep.

Congratulations "R" Family!  All of your girls are so beautiful.

Two peas in a pod {Custom Twin Photography in Houston, TX}

This weekend  I had the pleasure of photographing the tiniest newborn set of identical twin girls.  Meet Carleigh and Caroline.  Still under 5 lbs each, they were able to fit into my single-baby pod TOGETHER.  Absolutely adorable!  Funny thing is that they hated the flower hats.  It took me some major baby whispering to pull those shots off. :) But, it was so worth it in the end!  I was even able to get their two year old brother to snuggle and love on them for a few pictures. 

It was so great to meet you and see the wonderful support you have from your extended family.  Congratulations on the birth of your two precious girls!   I look forward to seeing them grow.

A little bit personal {Custom Children's Portraits in Richmond, TX}

All of my children have back to back birthday months.  They are February, March, and April.  I am running  behind on doing all their birthday sessions.  A common problem with me even though I am a photographer.  lol  Well I was able to carve out a bit of time today while the baby napped to do the first session for my oldest little girl, Lorelei who just turned 4.  She is full of personality and loves bright, frilly, girly things.  A girl after my own heart.  She really is my little mini-me.

 I love you sweet girl.  I hope you never lose that spunk of yours!

Apartments, College, and Ear Piercing {Custom Senior Portraits in Sugarland, TX}

I recently met Katherine at the Pure Fashion Houston fashion show.   I was so excited when her mom called and asked me to do her senior portraits.  She is such a sweet girl and did great in front of the camera.  We headed out to Booth and spent the evening taking pictures, hanging out, talking about her apartment hunt, college, and how her mom tried to convince her when she was younger not to get her ears pierced with a crazy story.  Apparently they put you up against the wall, point a gun and shoot earrings at you.  If they miss, that is how people end up with random piercings in their nose or eyebrow.  So funny!!  I have to remember that one when my girls get older. 

Thank you for choosing me to do your Senior portraits!   I had a fantastic time and hope to work with your family again in the future.  Good luck in college!  I know you will do great.  :)

Sisters {Custom Child Photography in Katy, Texas}

You may recognize these precious little girls from the bluebonnet mini-sessions I recently did.   Meet Madelyn and Mikayla.  We got together today for Madelyn's 10 month portraits, but also scheduled time to photograph her older sister and the two of them together.   Little Madelyn was in a very serious mood today and Mikayla was her same silly self.

It was great seeing you all again so soon and I look forward to our next session!
