I love this time of year.  Checking the mail and getting holiday cards from family and friends.  Seeing how everyone has grown and changed since the year before.  Who had a new baby, or started school, or got married.  This year, I haven't received many.  I hear a lot of friends saying they just don't have the time to send cards these days.  It seems as though there have been less and less in my mailbox the past few years.  A sign of the times perhaps?  The recession, the techno age?  I know I have fallen victim to both at times.  I hardly ever send anything by snail mail these days.  An email works just fine.  Or does it?

Cooper {Baby Portraits in Richmond, TX}

You will be seeing this next little cutie a lot over the next year because he just signed up for my Baby's First Year Package.  :)  Meet Cooper.  He is three months old and getting the hang of holding his head up.  Except when we put his hat on.  It was so funny.  You would think the hat was very heavy.  He was very content during our session even with the clothing changes and I am already looking forward to our next session.

See you in December! I can't wait to see how much you have grown by then!

Birthday girl {Children's Birthday Portraits in Richmond, TX}

Kylie came to the studio because she has a third birthday coming up.  Mom brought along some really great props for the session, too.  I love how the bright balloons and the lollipop photographed and they made the birthday session a little more fun.  Kylie is such a sweet little girl and she gave us tons of smiles to work with.

Avery {Infant Portraits in Richmond, TX}

Choo choo! {Children's Portraits in Booth, TX}

When I found out how much these next two boys love Thomas the Train, I knew of the perfect set of tracks for their session. They were very excited about the train tracks and brought along their Thomas books for the session. They could name all the trains from the show, too!

A little cowboy {Custom Infant Photography in Richmond, TX}

I photographed Coy a few weeks after he was born and was excited to get a call to photograph his "half-birthday".  He is seven months old and sitting very well, crawling, and even pulling up to stand!  I think the "S" family are going to have an early walker on their hands.  I almost died when mom started pulling out all his cowboy gear.  How cute is that!

Emery's Model Session {Custom Children's Photography in Richmond, TX}

We met in downtown Richmond for Emery's model session for The Perfect Stitch.  She got to model the Halloween shirt and treat bag, so I wanted a "house" look to the photos.  Emery is constantly on the move and does best if you sort of just let her do her own thing and follow her lead.  I think we got some great shots.  If you need a Halloween bag that is sure to hold up for that big candy haul this year, look no further.  :)

Chryshelle Spurgeon Photography is headed to So-CAL!

I am so excited to be taking a trip out to Southern California October 8-11.  For those of you that don't know, we moved from Carlsbad to Texas about a year and a half ago.  I still miss everything about CA on a daily basis - my friends, the weather, the beach, the food. the friendly and laid back atmosphere. 

Ever since me moved, my friends and clients have been emailing and calling asking where they should go to do their pictures now that I moved away begging me to come out to visit.  I finally asked myself "why not?".  I miss everyone so much and I am so excited to see how much all the kids have grown.  Some of them I haven't photographed since they were newborn.  So, I booked a flight and decided that this year I will be doing their family portraits again.  I really couldn't be more thrilled about my trip!

Here is the schedule I have worked up.  Children's portrait sessions are 20 minutes and will be $99.  Family sessions are double-spots and are $149. Each session will come with your choice of 10 images on CD.   If I can book at least 1/2 of my session spots I will give everyone 5 additional digital images on their CD for a total of 15.  If  I can book ALL of my sessions, I will give everyone a full CD of their gallery images at no additional cost.  That is a $100 value for FREE!  Be sure to spread the word to your friends and family.  Email me with any questions or to book your session at info@CSProPhotography.com.  Don't forget to become a fan on facebook to see all my current work and promotions.

Halloween is right around the corner.  Dress up your little ghosts, goblins, superheros, and princesses and head over to the studio for a fun mini-session.  You will also get Halloween cards to show of your little cutie to your friends and family.

Perfectly content {Custom in-home Newborn Photography Pearland, TX}

I am so glad that people are spreading my name to their friends because I love meeting new clients! Meet Ariana. An itty bitty little 5 lb. princess and the youngest of three beautiful girls. She was super sweet and perfectly content through our entire session. Even when she was wide awake she didn't make a single peep. I only had to hold her to get her to close those wide eyes for a while so we could get some sleeping pictures.

I cannot wait until your family session. All of your girls are so good in front of the camera!

Timeless {Infant Photography in Richmond, TX}

Maxton was the first baby I photographed in 2010 and he has grown by leaps and bounds.  He is still as sweet as can be and a happy little guy.  The session was very timeless using a washtub and an adorable romper. He did so well for his portrait session, that we were also able to use him as a model for the cute line of Fall owl clothing from Knotty Baby Wear at the end.

A beautiful surprise {Creative Newborn Photography in Katy, TX}

I had the pleasure of meeting the next family at the Mommy Swagger Expo.  Mom was very excited to set up a newborn appointment for mid-September.  I guess the little baby was so excited to have her cameo that she made her appearance early.  Mom went into labor less than 24 hours after our meeting at the Expo!  I love newborns teeny tiny and this little girl is so petite and beautiful just like her mommy.  Meet Anna.  She was so lovely that I used her to model some new headbands from Karley's Kloset. 

I am so glad you made it out to the Mommy Swagger Expo.  Your family is beautiful and I look forward to our session in the Fall.
